The deal between you and Stylist Scale
These terms cover your use of the Stylist Scale app and website, operated by ww beauty studio inc ("we", "us") in Orlando, Florida. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of your salon.
What you get
Stylist Scale is a web app that calculates the cost of hair color services, stylist pay and house profit from the gram weights you enter, and keeps your clients' formula cards, color stock and reports. It works in a browser on any phone, tablet or computer. It does not require or include any hardware.
Accounts and roles
- The person who creates the salon is its owner and controls billing, settings and who is invited.
- Owners can invite stylists, who see their clients, formulas and color stock but not the salon's financial reports.
- You're responsible for the people you invite and for keeping passwords private.
Price and billing
- Free trial. New salons get 7 days free. A card is added at sign-up and nothing is charged until the trial ends; cancel before then and you pay nothing.
- Subscription. After the trial, Stylist Scale costs $17.99 per stylist seat per month, billed monthly in advance through Stripe. The owner account is free; you pay for stylist seats.
- Seats. Add or remove seats any time; changes are prorated on your next invoice.
- Cancel any time. There is no contract. Cancel from Manage billing and your access runs to the end of the paid month. We don't refund partial months.
- Failed payments. If a charge fails you have 7 days to update your card before the app becomes read-only. Your data is never deleted for a failed payment.
- Price changes. We'll give existing subscribers at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change.
- Done-for-you setup is a separate one-time service, priced on the website, and is non-refundable once we've started the work.
Your data
Everything you enter belongs to your salon. We only use it to run the app for you, as described in our privacy policy. You can export a full backup at any time and ask us to delete your account.
Fair use
Don't use Stylist Scale to break the law, to store data you don't have the right to store, to attack or overload the service, or to copy it. One salon per account; if you run several locations, each location is its own salon.
What we promise, and what we don't
We work hard to keep Stylist Scale available and accurate, and we back up your data every day. Still, it is provided "as is": it depends on your inputs (prices, grams, pay rates) and on third-party services, and we can't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Numbers it produces are a tool for your judgment, not accounting or tax advice. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the relationship
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with notice where reasonable. Either way, you can export your data for 90 days afterwards.
Changes to these terms
If we make a material change we'll email account owners at least 30 days before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Orange County, Florida.
